The father of one of my employees was violently murdered last week. Apparently, he tried to evict a tenant for nonpayment of rent and 6 dudes from her sons gang went and stabbed him to death.

She’s like 22 years old. She came to ask me for leave today, which I gave her along with $500 cash. My brother in law was murdered in 2008 so I can relate a little. Fuck.

Damn dude. That sucks. Sorry for her loss.

I wonder if he sent letters and such first and all that.

We let my wife’s sister & husband know we have to sell our rental house they are living. It’s costing more than it’s worth and they are not improving it, but making it worse. Of course it’ll be a shit storm for a bit but once they get a new place they will get over it.

Sorry about your BIL. I only know one person who was murdered and it was an ex-coworker.

Dang. I’m all for trying settle things in a cordial manner, but I don’t think an eviction would be one of them. I’ve always thought that the Sheriff was responsible, or at least could be hired to take care of that.

You're a good guy for giving her a hand and some time to deal with her loss.

They murdered him after the eviction, or when he tried to evict her?

I assume all six involved have been arrested?

My sister witnessed a (brutal, stabbing) murder years and years ago, and I usually forget about it until hearing stuff like this.
